Dr. Lynne Wilkens, DrPH, Professor, is the Director of the BSR. Dr. Wilkens received her doctorate in Biostatistics in 2000 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is responsible for the overall organization, coordination, and supervision of the BSR, involving 12 statisticians and programmers. She has over 30 years of experience in cancer research, including in epidemiology, intervention, clinical, biomarker and genomic studies, as well as in managing data analysis cores for NCI funded Program Project grants and the partnership between UH Cancer Center and University of Guam. Mr. Yun Oh Jung, the technical director for information systems, and Ms. Kami White, the technical director for biostatistics, together with Dr. Wilkens, provide logistical and fiscal management of the Biostatistics Shared Resource.
