Charles Kim, MD

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree at George Washington University, completed an internship in General Surgery at Los Angeles County Medical Center and his residency in Urology at Jaskson Memorial Hospital. He has practiced in Hawaiʻi for 21 years. Dr. Kim is the Head of the Department of Urology and Director of Robotic Surgery at Pali Momi Medical Center and Assistant Clinical Professor at the UH Cancer Center.

Marc Coel, MD, FACR

Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiologist
The Queen’s Medical Center

Dr. Coel earned his medical degree at SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at U.C.S.D Hospital. He has been practicing in Hawaiʻi for 39 years and serves as Chairman on the Radiation Safety Committee and the Nuclear Medicine Peer Review Committee at Queen’s Medical Center. Dr. Cole is the Director at the Nuclear Medicine Department and Medical Director at the PET Imaging Center at Queen’s Medical Center. He is a Professor of Radiology at the UH John. A. Burns School of Medicine.

Richard Lee, MD, PhD

Radiation Oncologist
The Cancer Center of Hawaiʻi (TCCOH)

Dr. Lee earned his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University after earning his Ph.D. at Georgetown University and completing his post-doctoral training in oncology at Georgetown University Medical Center. He completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Since 2010 Dr. Lee has been a reviewer for the Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology. He is the Medical Director of Information Technology at TCCOH and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UH Cancer Center.

Ian Okazaki, MD

Medical Oncologist
Straub Medical Center

Dr. Okazaki earned his medical degree at the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine, completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wadsworth VA Medical Center and his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Okazaki is the Chair of the Cancer Committee at Straub Clinic and Hospital and serves on the Community Research Advisory Board and the Data and Safety Monitoring Committee at the UH Cancer Center. He has practiced in Hawaiʻi since 2003 and is an Associate Professor at the UH Cancer Center.

David Wei, MD, FACS

Urologist
Kaiser Permanente Moanalua Medical Center

Dr. Wei earned his medical degree at Keck School of Medicine of USC. He completed his residencies in General Surgery and Urology at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital and his fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Wei has practiced in Hawaiʻi for 18 years. He was Chairman of the Prostate Cancer Program for the Hawaiʻi chapter of the American Cancer Society and President of the Hawaiʻi Urologic Society from 2002-2004. He was Chief of the Urology Division at Hawaiʻi Medical Center – West and served on the Oncology Committee at Queen’s Medical Center. Currently Dr. Wei is part of the Hawaiʻi Kaiser Permanente Group and is Assistant Professor at the UH John A. Burns School of Medicine.
