University of Hawaiʻi Cancer Center 2022 COVID-19 Guidelines
December 15, 2021
The UH Cancer Center will resume full capacity for gathering spaces, starting January 3rd. These spaces include the Sullivan Conference Center, Health and Wellness Center, small conference rooms, breakrooms, lanai, open offices and cubicles. This effort coincides with plans to fully reopen the Mānoa campus, mentioned in previous announcements.

Opening fully can be attributed to your hard work and extremely high compliance in prevention measures, such as vaccinations and mask wearing, resulting in very low incidents of COVID-19 infections on campus. Mask wearing indoors, in public or shared spaces will continue, and beginning January 3rd, COVID-19 vaccination, along with health symptoms attestation (LumiSightUH), will be required to enter campus with limited exceptions.
However, please note that COVID-19 is an ever-evolving disease. With the newly identified Omicron (B.1.1.529) Variant, the UH leadership is monitoring developments around this and any new variants of concern. Stay tuned in case any future policy changes are necessary.
Thank you for your cooperation!
